I haven't been submitting much lately, actually almost nothing at all. I have photos waiting to be submitted, though my screen calibrations (on all four monitors) are very different. I have a Spyder calibration device, though it has been a bit of a pain to use (the software is really glitchy on my computers).
The Wacom screen doesn't seem to calibrate well/at all, my PC is running Vista and therefore doesn't hold ICC profiles well, and my two desktops upstairs are the only ones that may be correct Just hold out on me! I still have several shots from Smith Rock I am planning to submit and a Portland cityscape or two. I might be heading over to my printer to see how my images look on his screen (assuming that it is correctly calibrated over there).

Very frustrating!

I experimented a bit with black and white and will have to see if I'd like to submit some. Anyways, here is my portfolio: gallery. So it's summertime Nothing much is going on, except I am planning a three-five day photography road trip down Eastern Oregon. We'll be stopping at some of Eastern Oregon's most beautiful spots: Smith Rock, Painted Hills, Crater Lake, maybe Alvord Desert, etc. Any other suggestions? I'll also be heading down to San Francisco and Lake Tahoe sometime next month. Europe may also be an option this summer.
     I haven't been too active lately, primarily because of my laziness, but also due to difficulties with calibrating my monitors. My Spyder is acting funky and we're trying to get everything to match up on my PC, desktop, and Cintiq. Once that happens, I'll feel more comfortable about submitting pictures that I have lined up !

Today I was awarded seniorship I want to thank all of my supporters so much What may be a tick, means quite a bit to me I really love this community and everything that it has offered me. It has given me a chance to develop my art and meet some truly great people while doing so. DeviantART has really changed my life. I would have never stuck with photography if it weren't for you guys. Now, it is a way for me to blow stress, express myself, and earn some extra cash for college This is my second home. Okay, so my birthday is over. What I get? A kickass Cintiq 21UX ([link]!!!! It's really amazing and I love it very much. I am very grateful It has made editing photographs so much easier and I am not longer too lazy to do intricate edits Also, today, I got my Driving Permit I went out testing the car in the parking lot, and damn its hard I park well; however, I turn way too wide and suck and reversing It's only been a day though, and hour to be exact. Anyways, that's all I wanted to say Happy Monday!

I'd just like to let my watchers know that I was published in NANPA's (North America Nature Photography Association, [link] Expressions The chosen photographs were the top 250 chosen from over a thousand entered. The photograph that was published was none other than Eden I . This photograph has helped me gain so much exposure and I am so grateful that I have access to such a beautiful garden ([link] that is only located several minutes from my house.

Also, my birthday is this Sunday, in 4 days I'll be turning 15 and am planning to get my driving permit Monday (shame that the DMV isn't open Sunday ). I am very excited! Wish me luck on the test and that I won't crash while practicing in my mother's car

Hey everyone, just letting you guys know that I have returned from my trip It was very fun and I will definitely be submitted several photographs. Cape Kiwanda was definitely a place I would return to and we are currently looking to see if there is a vacation home we could buy there! If so, you will be seeing many more beach shots.
